In Isaiah 43 God tells us that He like doing new things. He wants His people to praise Him for His daily faithfulness to us... Not just for the thing He did yesterday, but the things He is doing today!
Our God is a God who likes doing new things. And because of that, we ought to be a people that enjoy the new things He does!
Holding on to the past will not get us ready for what He has in store for our future! We can't drive a car by staring at the rearview mirror. God's mercies are new every morning!
